EagleHeart Ministries Counseling Center -
This counseling center is located on the outskirts of Bay City, TX and serving
Brazoria & Matagorda counties and surrounding area. It has been established to meet the needs of
those who cannot afford counseling or prefer faith-based counseling as an alternative. All counseling is on
a sliding scale and no one is turned away because of inability to pay.
Therapon Licensend counselors are there to help those needing assistance in developing
healthier behavior patterns or finding solutions to life's various challenging issues. All counseling
is faith-based and denominationally unbiased.
Ministry in Progress -
1) Paper Goods/Toiletries Pantry - there are numerous pantries in the area which
supply food to those in need. However, most of them have a limited supply of paper goods and toiletries that are essentials
for good hygiene. It is our desire to establish a pantry that will meet that purpose by engaging donations from the
community through drives and by way of corporate sponsorship.
2) Furniture - we are the process of networking with another charitable group
which will enable us to provide vouchers which can be used to acquire new and slightly used furniture. Person
in need would accompany us to the warehouse showroom where they could select the items they need. Some of those items
are not only furniture, but lamps, mattresses, cookware, dishes, linens, etc.
3) Residential Facility - we plan to eventually design and establish a residential
facility to restore families from separation, distress, or just those in dire need. This would be a longer
term facility to help the family develop healthy life patterns and skills that will change their lives, not just get them
over this particular time of difficulty.
Our primary desire is to help people that seem to be beating their heads against the
wall and getting nowhere fast. There are plenty families out there that fit into this category and there is currently
only one other facility of this type between Houston and Corpus Christi, to my knowlege. That facility only
houses a limited number of people.
The for those leaving our facility is to have a new beginning with new skills that will help
them prosper in the future, not fall back into the same old patterns. They will then be an asset to the whole community.
Every healthy family brings something special to everyone around them.
