Waiting on God is never easy. We're the microwave and technology generation. We want
what we want now and don't want to wait for anything. But, if we are ever to reach the goals God has planned for us
we must learn to wait on His answer and one way of doing that is praying scripture (HIS WORD) into the situation. We
must never forget that Jesus defeated Satan in the desert with the phrase "it is written...." THERE IS POWER IN THE
SPOKEN WORD OF GOD! If that is how Jesus defeated the enemy in the wilderness why should we not do the same?
Prayer always changes things. Sometimes just not in our timeframe. But, as we use
scripture to pray into every situation we are exercising our faith and proclaiming that the Word of God is true
and we can depend on it to break the power of the enemy no matter what the circumstances around us may be.

We must pray both offensively and defensively.
There are some examples of scripture prayers of both types below. They are the Word of God being prayed into the life
of the believer. Personalize each prayer by inserting their name into the appropriate scripture. That is claiming
the Word of God over their life and you WILL see change. God says He watches over His Word to perform it and it will
not return void (empty or ineffective.
