FOR POWER IN MINISTRY

You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
Acts 1:8

I thank You and praise You Lord, for the high calling to do Your ministry. Lord, You have been more than faithful in leading me thus far. Lord, not my hard work, thoughts or wisdom, but only Your grace has enabled me to carry on Your work.

Lord I come to You now seeking more growth and power in the Ministry. Lord the Scripture says that You will pour out Your Spirit in the last days on all flesh. I claim this promise Lord! Fill all the people who come in contact with the ministry with Your sweet Spirit. Let this be a time of deliverance and there be a great revival in the hearts of those who hear, always helping me Lord, to glorify Your name.

There are those that are skeptical about the wonder-working power of Jesus. Father, I ask you to touch such people with Your power and reveal that You are God, through signs and wonders. Lord, bring forth in and through  me your servant the days of power that the early church saw where blind eyes were healed, the lame walked and those in bondages were delivered;  where  your miracle workiing power will be manifest, even today.  Help me to be a living example that nothing is impossible with You. In all these matters, I assure You all the glory, Master!

Strengthen me Lord to wait upon You and help me to know more of You. Sweet Holy Spirit, continue to work through me. In the name of Jesus my Lord and Savior, I Pray.

Amen.

FOR POWER TO WALK IN AUTHORITY

Jesus speaking to seventy young believers said, "I saw Satan fall like lightening from heaven.  I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.  However, don't rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.  Luke 10:18-20  Satan was defeated when Jesus was resurrected and took the keys to hell and the grave.  (Revelatoins 1)

I thank you Lord that you always cause me to triumph in Christ (2 Cor. 2:14) and to have victory in Christ; Therefore I stand firm and let nothing move me (1Cor. 15:57).  Your Word says in James 4:7 that I am to resist the devil and he flees from me and for that I give you thanks and receive your peace.  Lord Most High, even when I think something is too hard for me I can be victorious because your Word says I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me (Phil. 4:13) for I am more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).

You say, and I believe, I have power to tread and trample on snakes and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing by any means shall harm me (Luke 10:19).  Your Word further instructs me that Whatever I bind on earth will be bound in Heaven; whatever I loose on earth will be loosed in heaven (Matthew 18:18) and I shall be obedient to that word loosing evil from me and binding the things of God to my mind, body, will and emotions wrapping myself with cords of Your peace.

I receive the promise that Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4) and have complete confidence that If God is for me then who can be against me (Romans 8:31)? Father, You say in Isaiah 54:17 that No weapon formed against me shall prosper.  Therefore, I don’t have a spirit of fear but a spirit of power, love and a sound mind (self-discipline) (2 Tim 1:7).

Please Lord, help me always remember that I am redeemed from the curse of the law. (Gal. 3:13), The joy of the Lord is my strength.  (Psalm 28:7), and that I have been forgiven (Heb. 8:12, 1 John 1:9).  Thank you God that I know I am blessed as you say in (Deut. 2:7, Matt. 5:3-10, Matt. 13:16).

I accept that I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).  You further assure me that I am blessed and was a captive but now am free and whole! (Isaiah 42:7, Isaiah 61:6, John 8:36)  You, Lord, are bringing me to a place where I can be confident through your Word that I HAVE BEEN DELIVERED, HEALED, SET FREE AND MADE WHOLE (Isaiah 53:5, Matt 8:16-17).

Father, there is nothing that can compare to you and the life you have set before me as Your child and the expectation of spending life on earth fulfilling my God-given purpose with the eternal hope of a heavenly home.
