FOR POWER
TO WALK IN AUTHORITY
Jesus
speaking to seventy young believers said, "I saw Satan fall like lightening from heaven. I have given you authority
to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, don't
rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven. Luke 10:18-20 Satan
was defeated when Jesus was resurrected and took the keys to hell and the grave. (Revelatoins 1)
I thank you Lord that you always cause me to triumph in
Christ (2 Cor. 2:14) and to have victory in Christ; Therefore I stand firm and let nothing move me (1Cor. 15:57). Your
Word says in James 4:7 that I am to resist the devil and he flees from me and for that I give you thanks and receive your
peace. Lord Most High, even when I think something is too hard for me I can be victorious because your Word says I can
do all things in Christ who strengthens me (Phil. 4:13) for I am more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).
You say, and I believe,
I have power to tread and trample on snakes and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing by any means shall
harm me (Luke
10:19). Your Word further instructs me that Whatever I bind on earth will be bound in Heaven; whatever I loose on earth
will be loosed in heaven (Matthew 18:18) and I shall be obedient to that word loosing evil from me and binding the things
of God to my mind, body, will and emotions wrapping myself with cords of Your peace.
I receive the promise
that Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4) and have complete confidence that If God is
for me then who can be against me (Romans 8:31)? Father, You say in Isaiah 54:17 that No weapon formed against me shall
prosper. Therefore, I don’t have a spirit of fear but a spirit of power, love and a sound mind (self-discipline)
(2 Tim 1:7).
Please Lord, help me
always remember that I am redeemed from the curse of the law. (Gal. 3:13), The joy of the Lord is my strength. (Psalm
28:7), and that I have been forgiven (Heb. 8:12, 1 John 1:9). Thank you God that I know I am blessed as you say in (Deut.
2:7, Matt. 5:3-10, Matt. 13:16).
I accept that I am
fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). You further assure me that I am blessed and was a captive but now am
free and whole! (Isaiah 42:7, Isaiah 61:6, John 8:36) You, Lord, are bringing me to a place where I can be confident
through your Word that I HAVE BEEN DELIVERED, HEALED, SET FREE AND MADE WHOLE (Isaiah 53:5, Matt 8:16-17).
Father, there is nothing
that can compare to you and the life you have set before me as Your child and the expectation of spending life on earth fulfilling
my God-given purpose with the eternal hope of a heavenly home.
